Yes. The Devil's Punchbowl on the Spruce Railroad Trail is the classic spot. Water stays cold, so late July and August are best.

Where should I stay near Lake Crescent?

Port Angeles is about 25 minutes east with full services. Forks is about 45 minutes west if you also want the coast.

Is there a fee for Lake Crescent?

Most lakeshore areas and the Spruce Railroad Trail do not have an entrance station.
